Mographr costs $0 to $200 per month. The free plan is $0 with no card required: 2 cloud animations to try, plus unlimited local generation in the free desktop app, which runs an AI coding agent on your own account — a free Google account (Antigravity) is enough to start, and Claude Code or Codex work on a plan you already pay for (100 credits a month at 1 credit per local generation or render). Creator is $20 per month — or $9.99/mo billed yearly — with 300 cloud credits, unlimited local generation and rendering, and a commercial license. Credits are the single unit: one cloud animation costs 30 credits and an edit costs 10. CPU rendering and preview are free on every paid plan.

What do credits get spent on?

Do unused credits roll over?
On the free plan credits do not carry over — the allowance resets in full each month. On paid plans 5% of your unused balance carries into the next month, and the carried amount never exceeds 25% of that plan's monthly credits.

What is a credit?
A credit is the single unit Mographr bills in — it covers generation, editing and GPU rendering alike, so there is nothing else to track. One full animation costs 30 credits, an edit costs 10, and each AI-generated image inside a scene costs 4. CPU rendering and previewing are free on every plan, including Free, so iterating on a look never costs anything.
How many animations do I get per month?
In the desktop app, generation is unlimited on every paid plan (it runs an AI agent on your own account). For cloud generation, divide the plan's credits by 30: Creator (300 credits) is about 10 full cloud animations, Agency (6,000 credits) is about 200 full cloud animations. Edits are much cheaper at 10 credits, so in practice a month of real work stretches further than that number suggests.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and it does not ask for a card. The free plan includes 2 cloud animations (plus 2 edits) to try the full pipeline, and unlimited local generation and rendering in the free desktop app — 100 credits a month at 1 credit per local generation or render. The desktop app runs an AI coding agent in its own terminal on YOUR account, and you do not need a paid AI plan to start: Antigravity signs in with an ordinary Google account and its free tier is enough to build with, while Claude Code and Codex use a Claude or ChatGPT plan if you already have one. Free local renders carry a small watermark and a non-commercial license. The free browser tools at https://www.mographr.com/tools need no account at all.

What do I actually own?
You own the output generated for you, subject to the Terms. Note that AI-assisted output carries no guarantee of copyright protection in every jurisdiction — that is a property of the law, not of this service. Renders you make with the free browser tools carry a small mographr.com watermark.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access for the period you have already paid for. Credits already consumed are not refundable.
